Membership & Payment
Terms & Conditions

Your Membership

• Your membership allows you to use the studio, equipment, and facilities listed in your plan.
  Membership fees are payable in advance via the nominated payment method.

• Memberships are personal and non-transferable.

• Access to the front door and to classes is through your digital key or fob – do not share this with anyone.
  Do not let anyone through the front door or into a classroom that is not you.

• Membership fees remain payable until cancellation is processed in accordance with these Terms.
  

Minimum Membership Commitment

• Unless otherwise stated, all memberships are subject to a minimum commitment period of three (3) months.

• Membership fees remain payable throughout the entire minimum commitment period.

• Once the minimum commitment period has expired, your membership will continue to automatically renew on an ongoing basis until cancelled.
  

Payments

• Fees are paid by direct debit via Ezypay or upfront as agreed.

• Sufficient funds must be available, failed payments may incur administration fees.

• If payments fall behind, you’ll be asked to catch up within 7 days. Unpaid accounts may be sent to debt collection, and studio access may be suspended.

• Aerial Academy can change fees or membership benefits with 30 days’ written notice. You can cancel within 5 days of the notice if you do not agree. This includes Founding Memberships.
  

Membership Holds

• You can place your membership on hold. The minimum hold period is 2 weeks and up to 3 months.

• You can place your membership on hold up to 4 times within a 12 month period.

• Hold periods do not count towards the minimum term of the agreement. After the hold is finished, the remaining time will be added to the minimum term.
  

Membership Upgrades/Downgrades

• Members may upgrade their membership at any time. Upgrades will take effect immediately or from the next billing period, as determined by Aerial Academy.

• If upgrading the minimum term left on your current membership applies

• You can downgrade your membership at any time after your minimum term, with no new minimum term added

• You cannot downgrade your membership within your minimum term. 

• Downgrades may be granted within a minimum term on compassionate grounds.

• After the minimum commitment period, members may cancel or downgrade their membership at any time by providing written notice before their next scheduled payment.
  

Cancelling Your Membership

• You can cancel within 5 days of signing up to your membership for a full refund, minus any services already used.

• After the minimum term, you can cancel anytime with 7 days’ written notice to Aerial Academy via our app.

• Cancellations on compassionate grounds can be granted due to relocation, permanent sickness, injury, or death.

• Prepaid memberships: Can’t be cancelled or refunded unless due to relocation, permanent sickness, injury, or death.

• Membership will end at the completion of the current paid billing period and once all fees owing are paid.

• If you wish to cancel your membership before the minimum term expires, you must provide written notice and pay a cancellation fee equal to 25% of the remaining balance on your contract.
  

Changes to Membership Pricing, Timetable, Terms & Conditions

• Aerial Academy may alter class timetables, instructors, facilities, membership inclusions or services where reasonably required.

• Aerial Academy may amend their Terms and Conditions by providing reasonable notice.

• Aerial Academy reserves the right to review and adjust their membership fees whenever appropriate.

• Members will receive at least thirty (30) days' written notice of any membership fee increase.

• Any increase will not take effect until the member's current minimum commitment period has expired.

• Following expiry of the minimum commitment period, the revised membership fee will apply unless the member cancels before the new pricing takes effect.
