school Term classes
Seeing the next generation discover the joy of aerials is one of our great passions here at Aerial Academy! Young kiwi kids are often pigeon-holed into one of three physical disciplines: gymnastics, ballet or sport. We want parents to know there is another fun and exciting option!
Circus and aerials are for everybody of all ages! And in a world where screens compete for our childrens’ attention, giving young people the space to move freely, understand their bodies better, overcome fears, and grow their confidence in a safe, supportive environment, is incredibly rewarding and hugely empowering.
holiday programmes
We offer holiday programmes for both kids and teenagers in the term school holidays. Classes run for 3 hours and we offer two sessions per week. We can cater for up to 20 kids with two or three instructors present. We focus on fun being the primary goal in these programmes, alternating floor based games and focused aerial teaching, with free time to explore the apparatuses at their leisure.

Our kids and teens instructors are carefully chosen for their bubbly and vibrant personalities, clear communication and amazing ability to relate to and motivate young people - all while making sure they’re safe in the air.
All members of our youth team are police-vetted, hold current first aid certificates, and have comprehensive training in health and safety and aerial rigging. You can feel assured that your child is well supported, supervised and cared for throughout every class with us at Aerial Academy.
